The temple complex includes the Seema Malaka, an elegant assembly hall for monks. The best time to visit is January and February, offering the least rainfall and more sunshine hours. Despite the abundant rainfall, Colombo enjoys long daylight hours across all seasons, making it a vibrant city to explore any time of the year
