Ravana Falls

Little Adam's Peak

The hike to Little Adam's Peak in Ella typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Best experienced in the morning, the hike offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including the vast tea estates that Ella is famous for. Walking through these tea estates adds a serene and green hue to the journey, making it not just a hike but an experience of Sri Lanka's lush countryside. Visiting Ella is a year-round experience. Locations such as Nine Arch are open all days as these are road-side locations and have no particular entrance/exits.

Ella's climate is characterized as Tropical rainforest, with year-round warm temperatures ranging between 18.7°C and 31.1°C. Humidity levels are high, ranging from 80% to 88%. Rainfall is a constant feature, with the driest month being January (85mm) and the wettest in October (357mm).
