Peradeniya Botanical garden

Kandy's Cultural Dance Show is a vibrant showcase of Sri Lankan heritage, held nightly at various venues, including the famous Kandyan Art Association & Cultural Centre. This hour-long performance is a mesmerizing display of traditional Kandyan dances, originally performed for kings. Visiting Kandy is a year-round experience. This is one of the most visited cities in Sri Lanka.
Climate/Weather:
Kandy experiences a tropical rainforest climate, with considerable rainfall throughout the year, even during its driest month. The average temperature varies slightly, maintaining a warm climate most of the year. The cooler months, around January and February, offer a more temperate climate, making it a comfortable period for visiting. Rain is more frequent and heavier from May to July and October to December, coinciding with the monsoon seasons.
