Pahiyangala (Fa Hien Cave)

Named after the Chinese monk Faxian, who is said to have visited the site, Pahiyangala is home to one of the largest natural rock caves in Asia. - When to visit: Can visit anytime of the year. Open daily from 08.00 AM to 05.30 PM
- Notes: It is a climb of about 200 steps.
When to visit:
Wadduwa is best visited during the Winter Season in Sri Lanka (that's November to April). But, beaches are clear and visited by many all year round. However, swimmable beach areas are limited.
Climate/Weather:
In Wadduwa, the highest daytime temperatures typically range around 30°C to 32°C, while at night, they can drop to around 25°C to 27°C. The months of May and June are expected to receive the most rainfall, with June being the rainiest month, accumulating up to 350mm of precipitation. January, on the other hand, is both the driest and one of the least humid months, making it one of the best times to visit if you're looking to avoid the rain.
